[Position] Account Payable Assistant (회계 업무, 1 년 이상) 

[HR Talk] LEGOLAND® Korea Resort, Finance 부서에서 리조트의 Account Payable Assistant 를 채용합니다. 경영이나 회계를 전공하셨거나 회계 업무를 해보신 경력이 있으신 분을 선호합니다. 관련해 Global Stakeholder 는 물론 다양한 국가의 고객들과의 Communication 이 빈번하게 발생하는 포지션으로 영어 Communication 에 거부감이 없는 분을 선호합니다. 자세한 사항은 반드시 아래의 Job Description 을 참고해 주시기 바랍니다. 


Position Summary: Organizes and maintains all invoice documentation and related accounting records. Responsible for performing invoice review, coding, entry into the accounting system and ensuring invoices are paid in line with payment terms. Responsible for generating sales invoicing and reconciliation of customer accounts. Communicates with internal and external contacts regarding billing matters and performs related research. Trains other staff on accounts payable related job duties. 


Scope and Responsibilities: 

1. Organize and Maintain Accounting Records: Responsible for gathering, sorting and tracking accounting records related to the accounts payable function (i.e. Purchase Orders, Receivers, Credit Memos, etc.). Ensures that all accounting records are properly filed in central accounting files. Identifies all invoices relevant for payment runs providing all supporting documentation meet operating procedures. 


2. Accounting System: Maintains accounts payable accounts in general ledger by review, coding and entry of accounting documents into the accounting system. Reconciles vendor statements and transactions using information such as invoice, PO, credit memos or receiving documents. Ensures accuracy of general ledger through review and maintenance of accounts payable balances and activity. 


3. Communication: Resolves any account discrepancies through investigation of supporting documentation and direct communication with internal and external contacts. 


4. External Audit: Prepare and Provide documents required by External Auditors. 


Background and Experience: Requires a minimum of one to three years of experience within accounts payable role. 

Preferred majored in Accounting or Business administration. Two-year degree or equivalent above. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required. Requires a track record of success in Accounting and Cash Management functions. Experience in coordinating and implementing financial plan for control of operations is required. Requires strong analytical and decision making skills. Demonstrated success in project management skills is required. Requires strong interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required. 


Education: 

Bachelor degree preferred but two year-degree or equivalent above. 


Physical Demands: 

Ability to sit for sustained periods of time to attend on-site and off-site meetings, perform paperwork activities. Finger dexterity sufficient to complete paperwork activities and to use a computer. Visual acuity sufficient to read written materials, to complete paperwork activities. Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals in person and by telephone. 


Work Environment: 

located in Chuncheon city, Gangwon Province, Korea 


Other Requirements: 

Must be fluent in Korean, including all four skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) Must have demonstrable reading and speaking English skills. Must be willing to work on other accounting and administrative tasks during the development stage due to a limited number of staff members in the office. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to support park operations.
